Brooklyn Drivers vs Harrisonburg Valley Bees Game Note

Game Recap vs Omaha Goldenrod

The Brooklyn Drivers failed to build upon their momentum from their second win of the season as Omaha Goldenrod (7-0) trounces the Drivers 174.58-119.60, which extends Omaha’s win streak to seven. The bright spot for the Drivers in this matchup was the play of star quarterback Carson Wentz who had 40.70 points on the day — which resulted from his third 300-yard passing performance of the season. The two-quarterback system of Phillip Rivers and Andrew Luck helped Omaha as its quarterbacks had over 72 points. The Drivers were missing star wideout Antonio Brown in this matchup, as result of the Steelers bye week. Even without Brown, Brooklyn’s receivers edged out Omaha 45.60-30.

Match-up Preview vs. Harrisonburg Valley Bees (1-6)

  • The wide receiver matchup sways heavily towards the Drivers with the trio of Brown, Hill, Thomas. Brown has six touchdowns, Hill has seven touchdowns, and Thomas has three touchdowns so far in this season as all three have been top players for the Drivers so far.
  • The Eagles Defense might have a field day with Blake Bortles so that 6.49 projection might balloon to double-digit points for the defense.
  • The Drivers are the 12th rated team in the league while the Valley Bees are in the 15th spot
  • It’s a close matchup between the running backs groups this week, with no individual projected in double digits.
