Game Recaps

It was an exciting week for Orlando as the Orlando Sharks pulled their first win of the season this past Sunday against the Harrisonburg Valley Bees bringing their season record to 6 losses and 1 win. The final score came down to be 177.54 for the Sharks and 122.43 for the Bees – the Sharks cruising past this week’s game with a 55.11 point lead.

The highlight performance of the week came from QB Eli Manning of the Sharks with a collective 37.66 points – highest player lead for both teams this week. Coming up narrowly behind him with impressive scoring was Sharks QB Tom Brady with 35.68 points. Both players played pivotal roles in the Sharks first season win.

Bees’ QB Dak Prescott proved to be the main competitor for this week’s game giving the Sharks a run for their money with 273 pass yards and 28.22 points, leading for the Bees.

Key players from both teams this week showed an impressive performance with a very high scoring game. The Orlando Sharks narrowly scored the second highest amount of points in this league for this week, shy only 1.46 points from the Oklahoma City Lightning. Orlando is hoping for a strong showing in next week’s game after a hard fought game this week leading to victory.

Match-up Preview

  • Next week’s game will be the Orlando Sharks versus the Memphis Suns. The Sharks will head into this game with a season record of 6 losses and 1 win
  • Tom Brady is the QB to watch next week as he was able to step up with a completed 25 of 36 passes for 277 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception, ending him with 35.68 points making him the seventh highest scorer of any QB in the league for Week 7. Big things are expected of him coming into this next game to keep the momentum going for the Sharks
  • Look for hopefully two more impressive performances next week from Sharks’ key players Tom Brady and Eli Manning as they have been leading scorers for the Orlando Sharks in recent games. Without good games from both of these players, it looks like it will be tough for the Sharks to take home another W
  • Big scorer for the Sharks, Julio Jones, who scored 17.40 points this past week with 104 receiving yards is on a bye next week. Hopefully this will not affect the team’s success too much and the Sharks will still be able to score a second victory.
  • Key match ups next week include Sharks QB Tom Brady with a projected 18.81 points versus Suns QB Cam Newton very close behind with a projected 18.50 points.
  • Another too-close-for-comfort matchup for next week looks like its between Wide Receivers with Sharks WR Will Fuller with a projected 12.05 points and Suns WR Tyler Boyd with a projected 15.24 points.
  • The one to watch out for from Memphis next week looks like it will be Running Back Christian McCaffrey with the highest projected points for the game at 20.71 points.
  • Next week’s game is a huge match for the Orlando Sharks. The Sharks can pick up the momentum with a second in a row win and work on up the stats for the league if they keep the spirit high in Week 8.
