Against all odds, the Orlando Octopi defeated the Portland Predators 190.88 to 116.66 after being projected to lose by 4.02 points. Rising from seventh place, the Orlando Octopi lead by 19.3 points on Thursday. Deshaun Watson, quarterback for the Octopi, scored a total of 48.10 points for the team, quadrupling the score of Predators quarterback Drew Brees. Octopi running-back Dion Lewis fell short of Predators running-back Ezekiel Elliot, 15.6 to 34. Predators wide receiver Randall Cobb didn’t make it off the bench this week, adding zero points to the Predators total. Highlights of the game include Stefan Diggs catching a pass and gaining 24 – yards for Orlando, Trey Burton catching a 39 – yard touchdown, and Josh Rosen catching a pass for a 31 – yard gain. Orlando Octopi now have a record of 2-2-0.
