The Austin Atmosphere were founded as a team in September of 2018. Off to a surprisingly strong start, (2-1) the Atmosphere hope to continue their dominant play behind the impressive start of Austin stars: Kirk Cousins, Da
vid Johnson, Mike Evans, Marvin Jones, and Keelan Cole. A season ending ACL injury is likely to severely hinder the Atmosphere’s playoff hopes, but adversity is no stranger to this resilient bunch. They will now look to rely on Ryan Tannehill and Royce Freeman to pick up the slack left by the San Francisco star quarterback. Next week, the Atmosphere look to win their third consecutive game against the Harrisonburg Valley Bees (1-2).
