Game Recaps

The slump continues for the Fresno Fuegos as they lose their sixth straight game to the Harrisonburg Valley Bees with a score of 101.90-129.82. Scoring was led by QB Marcus Mariota and QB Tom Brady who each led the offense with a combined total of 62.27 points. However, the rest of the Fuegos offense did not contribute much. With TE Jordan Reed out with a hamstring injury, RB Adrian Peterson and RB Doug Martin put up very few rushing yards and Peterson lost a fumble that was recovered by the Valley Bees. WR Keenan Allen and WR Jordy Nelson finished the game with a combined total of 68 passing yards and put 14.40 points on the board. The Harrisonburg Valley Bees took full advantage of the Fuegos’ struggles and came out charging with a strong offense led by QB Jared Goff, QB Blake Bortles and TE Jimmy Graham who put up a combined total of 85.52 points.

Matchup Preview vs. Honolulu Honey Badgers

  • Honolulu’s WR Jarvis Landry is questionable for Sunday’s game with a chest injury he suffered in last week’s game.
  • Honolulu’s QB Philip Rivers is also questionable for Sunday’s game as he had a limited practice on Wednesday due to a concussion.
  • It is going to be a strong matchup between Fresno QB Tom Brady and Honolulu QB Matthew Stafford as each player completed passes for over 250 yards in Week 10.
  • With Honolulu’s key offensive players potentially out due to injury, the Fresno Fuegos’ defense will be looking to hold them to one possession and to score early.
  • It will be an interesting TE matchup for the Fuegos as they are going up against TE Rob Gronkowski, who is the second highest fantasy point scorer in the league and with TE Jordan Reed still out, the Fuegos’ offensive line is going to have be strong.
