The Neptunes Strike the Rocks in a Beat Down

The Virginia Beach Neptunes snapped a two game losing streak with a win against the Harrisonburg Valley Bees and wanted to continue their win streak against the Honolulu Rocks. The ‘Tunes and Rocks first matchup was a season favorite as the ‘Tunes won by 1.5 points. The Honolulu Rocks were looking to take down the Neptunes after their first matchup didn’t go as planned. The Neptunes came out strong in a comfortable win over the Rocks 162.26 to 128.04. Their overall record goes to 6-4, while The Honolulu Rocks fall to 5-5. QB Kirk Cousins has led the ‘Tunes throughout this entire season and especially for this matchup. He was strutting the field with 327 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 1 interception, and 2 rushing touchdowns. His hard work earned a team high 35.58 points this week, although it was a not quite as high from his 50.80 points the last time these teams met.

Next week, Virginia Beach Neptunes will meet league-leader Las Vegas Spades (9-1, 1,582.96). The Honolulu Rocks takes on Harrisonburg Valley Bees (5-5, 1,262.90).
