Honolulu Rocks Get Crushed for the Third Week, Week 10 Game Note #2

Game Recaps November 8, 2017 (Honolulu Rocks 85.38 — Virginia Beach Neptunes 167.26)

A third loss for the Rocks is putting a dwell on their previous rockin’ games. The Neptunes beat the Rocks by almost 100 points this week. Running back, Devonta Freeman, received a concussion in the game, the second of his season, and only scored 0.30 points for the team. Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Rocks QB, only threw for 187 yards while the Neptunes QB, Kirk Cousins, threw for 327 yards and had 35.58 points. Michael Thomas, wide receiver, had a great game for the Rocks despite the loss, running for 117 yards and gaining 21.70 points. The defense (Seahawks) may have fell short but they did account for one safety, while kicker, Kai Forbath, successfully kicked for 5 extra point attempts. However, it was the Neptunes’ offense that crushed the rocks, running back Michael Ingram, rushed for 131 yards giving their team 32.10 points and wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald had 113 yards and 22.30 points. Next week the Rocks play the Harrisonburg Valley Bees where they hope to overcome this losing streak.
