Dates of Note:
- Nov. 20, will be the second time the Neptunes face off against the Las Vegas Spades.
- The first 100 fans attending the game on Nov. 20 will win meet and greet tickets for the chance to meet their favorite players after the game
- The Neptunes will be hosting a canned food drive for the community in need on Nov. 14 hosted by your favorite tunes
Cousins Lightning Performance led the Neptunes to a Nail Biting Win against the Rocks
With most of the players for the Neptunes playing in the early 1 o’clock games on Sunday, the team continued to score throughout the games. Kirk Cousins was the show boat of the Neptunes as the leading scorer, throwing 365 yards and adding 3 touchdown passes. Cousins was connecting with receivers all game and kept the momentum high. Aaron Rodgers was our second highest scorer, passing for over 300 yard, throwing 3 touchdown passes and 1 interception. The Seahawks defense resulted in the Tunes lowest score allowing 33 points in their loss to the Titians. Amari Cooper the hopeful star wide out was held to 6 receiving yards and has been a disappointment thus far in the season for the Neptunes. Stephon Diggs was benched for the Tunes but his production exploded in week 3 scoring over 40 points with 173 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns.
Matchup Preview
- The early projections are giving the Neptunes a slight edge in this week 4 matchup.
- Aaron Rogers is the 3rd ranked Quarterback in fantasy scoring and ranks 2nd in passing yards
- The quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan are two MVP award winners and they are currently ranked 2 & 3 in the NFL in yards.
- The newest add, Jack Doyle for the Neptunes had a disappointing week 3 performance and looks to bounce back
- The Spades look to use Dak Prescott in a favored matchup this week
Virginia Beach Neptunes Season Notes
- Neptunes add Austin Hooper from free agency and dropped Hunter Henry. Hooper will make his first start for the Neptunes.
- Andrew Luck looks to sit out week 4 with his shoulder injury, no timetable for return.
