Week 2 Game Notes
Game Recaps (Previous week’s game)
The Honolulu Honey Badgers lost a nail biter to the Las Vegas Spades 154.16 to 152.82. The Honey Badgers star quarterback Phillip Rivers had an amazing game throwing for more than 300 hundred yards and one touchdown to give them 41.24 points. Some were unsure if Honolulu’s starting running back Ezekiel Elliot would play due to domestic abuse allegations against him but the NFL will allow him to play until the Circuit Court makes a final decision on his case. Ezekiel, who is normally a nightmare to opposing defenses, played a disappointing game only 6.2 fantasy points for his team. The Honey Badgers coaching staff made a detrimental error by not starting a defense in the game. If they would have started their benched Cardinals defense Honolulu would have add 10 points to their point total which would have resulted in the Honey Badgers winning the game.
Matchup Preview (Upcoming match up)
- Ezekiel Elliot is projected to come back from his disappointing showing of only 6.2 points last week by scoring 15.33 fantasy points.
- Rob Gronkowski is always a threat to any team he faces, and with the 40 year old Tom Brady playing like he’s in his 20s I expect Brady to find Gronk several times in next week’s game.
- Jarvis Landry is questionable for week three due to a knee injury he acquired last week against the Los Angles Chargers. Jarvis from not suiting up at all on Wednesday’s practice to participating fully on Friday’s practice.
- Honolulu’s start running back Melvin Gordon had limited practices Thursday and Friday due to a sore knee. Even with the injury Gordon is still expected to play this week, and I expect to him to have a big game at home this week.
- Michael Crabtree is one of the best wide receivers in the game right now. He had an exceptional game last week and this week he will be facing a much weaker defense so I expect him to have another great game.
Honolulu Honey Badgers Season Notes

Pamela had been out of work for a few weeks due to her illness however her death was still a shock to everyone. - Sunday night a man was killed in a fatal motorcycle car accident between a motorcycle and a truck in Nanakuli. The man killed was Michael Aken who was hit by a truck driver while Michael was riding his motorcycle northbound on Hakimo Road. Authorities believe that speed was a major factor in the accident but they are not sure if alcohol or drugs we involved in the accident.
