Game Recap
Drew Bree’s led the Spades with an explosive offensive performance totaling 356 yards through the air with two touchdowns. Dak Prescott also contributed to the Spades win with 258 passing yards and two touchdowns, but also managed to turn the ball over throwing two interceptions. Both running backs, Todd Gurley and Jay Ajayi, performed big for the spades racking up over 200 yards rushing and 50 yards receiving between the two. Ajayi was questionable with a knee injury for Week 2 and did not practice on Wednesday; rather he rode the stationary bike. However, this clearly did not phase his dominant 122-yard rushing performance. At the wide out position, Antonio Brown’s numbers were much lower than Week 1 only collecting 62 yards on five receptions. Travis Kelce, the Spade’s tight end, racked up 103 yards on eight receptions pushing the Spades past the Honey Badgers. The Spade’s defense didn’t perform as well as they could have allowing 27 points and only collecting two sacks.
