Honolulu Honey Badgers Season Notes

  • There are no injuries for the Honey Badgers as of now. However, running back Ezekiel Elliot is currently facing potential charges off of the field. These charges could potentially result in suspension later in the season, which could be a severe loss for the Honey Badgers.
  • If all-pro, tight end Rob Gronkowski can stay healthy this season, he could be a huge asset for the Honey Badgers this year.
  • In continuing weeks, the Honey Badgers are anticipating two big name rookies, Christian McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook to provide depth on the bench in case of unsuspected injuries throughout the season. These two players could also provide cushion on the field in case of Elliot’s anticipated suspension.
  • As far as news, the state land department discovered human remains at West Maui beach on Sunday, September 10th. The body has been sent to the state’s Historic Preservation Division for further identification.
  • The Hepatitis A outbreak continues as a tourist contracts Hepatitis A after visiting Hawaii back in June 2017. The man, who chooses to keep his identity anonymous, claims that the disease stemmed from eating sea food while visiting Hawaii.
