Game Recaps

Harrisonburg Valley Bees start off with the ball in the first half with a shaky start, however they redeem themselves after they receive two extra points for their touchback. Madison Moose in the second half started off with a couple yards lost and had no points in their favor. Wilson showed his weakness after he could not make a complete pass whatsoever in the second quarter. We thought he might have a chance when he ran up the middle but was sacked and lost 10 yards for the Madison Moose. D. Carr then scored a touch down for the Harrisonburg Valley Bees quickly followed by M. Ryan, and Hopkins. Madison Moose trying to stay in the game made a quick touchdown by J. James with the assist from Roethlisberger. The Bees finished the Moose after Carr sent a drive to Cooper, which was cleared after review by the officials. The Moose did not play their best in the fourth quarter and the extra points they received did not do them any good, The Harrisonburg Valley Bees take the win. Brandon Cooks was off to a slow start in the start of the game with his fumble but came back with his three catches making a name for himself on the Madison Moose.

Matchup Preview

This next coming week will be interesting as the Moose quarter back, Russell Williams and Fuegos quarterback Tom Brady hit the field. It is projected that they will score about 20 points each, however Williams gained about 40 yards in the previous game which is incomparable to Tom Brady’s 267 yards. Making for an exciting game in the works. Madison Moose Tyler Efiert who has a history with injury remains uninjured however is projected to gain 10 points in the next game against the Fuegos. Eifert will be matched up with Reed who is projected to score 15 points. Reed gained about 26 yards and one touchdown last game. Eierts stats can not even compare to that, but hopefully Eifert can keep himself healthy going in to this next game. Roethlisberger also scored about 267 yards, which can be compared to Brady’s yard still leaving the Moose in the fight for the win.

Madison Moose Season Notes

Madison Moose David Johnson hurt his wrist in the third quarter he will be out for 2 to 3 months the Moose take a great hit because Johnson was their first draft pick. Adrian Peterson was caught on camera screaming on the sideline during the Moose vs. Bees game. Some people think that his aggressive nature was an issue while playing on the field. Roethlisberger was also framed as aggressive while he was on the field and made a tackle, which he kept his grip longer than the whistle that officials and fans were not amused by. Madison has recently been struggling with unemployment rate and poverty in sections we hope that by opening the stadium doors to people who are unable to buy tickets will help keep morale high in the fans and the city. Hopefully the Moose will be able to pull a win out for their fans and keep up the positive energy moving into the next view weeks.
