Game Recaps

The Chattanooga Chickadees got off to a very slow start gaining only one point from the lackluster defensive performance Thursday night. By the end of the night, the Chicks were down 9-1. The Chickadees would stay behind for the remainder of the matchup, giving up early points to the Kirk Cousins – Terelle Pryor duo. Keeping the Chicks in the game was Leonard Fournette, boasting 100-yard game in his NFL debut. Holding Chattanooga back was Greg Olsen, with only 18 receiving yards, and WR Dez Bryant only accounting for 43. The Chick’s biggest mismatch was between Lamar Miller and the Neptune’s LeSean McCoy, increasing the deficit an additional ten points. The Chicks had an incredible last-ditch effort in the performance of Sam Bradford Monday night, putting up 346 passing yards while accruing three touchdowns getting the Chickadees within one point. The late surge by the stand out athlete won him the title MVP but could not win the game for the Chickadees who were bested by a solitary point to the Virginia Beach Neptunes.
