Week 4 Game Recap

Failing to beat the undefeated Harrisonburg Valley Bees, the Austin Armadillos dropped back this week, losing 140.04-132.32. Austin now declines to fifth place while Harrisonburg remains at the top for the third week in a row. David Johnson once again led the way for the Armadillos, as he contributed 27.10 points with two touchdowns on 55 yards rushing and 46 yards receiving. Johnson has reached 100+ yards from scrimmage in every single game this season, and has scored more than twenty points in all but three of the games the Armadillos have played this year. Other big performers for the Armadillos were Carson Palmer (25.64 points, from one passing touchdown and 376 passing yards and 19 yards to go along with 30 completions) and Martellus Bennett (102 yards receiving). Valley Bees’ Aaron Rodgers (39.54 points on 371 yards passing and two touchdowns along with 27 yards rushing and a touchdown) and Larry Fitzgerald (133 yards receiving) led the way for their team.
