Game Recaps
The Oklahoma City Orioles’ three game win streak came to an abrupt halt following Sunday’s loss to the Orlando Blooms. The Orlando Blooms defeated the Orioles 192.96 to 165.22; stonewalling the wave of momentum the Orioles came into Sunday riding. It was a pivotal game for the young talent of the Orlando Blooms, being lead by rookie sensations QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott accumulated 36.76 points Sunday as Elliott accumulated 44.90 points, combining for a staggering rookie performance of 81.66 total points. While the Blooms experienced a record-breaking performance from their young powerhouse starters, the other side of the ball wasn’t as quiet as the final score reflected. Oklahoma City Orioles QB Russell Wilson and QB Marcus Mariota combined for a total of 81.12 points, Russell putting up 40.52 individual points and Mariota putting up 40.60 individual points. This dominant performance fell short in the long haul as the rest of the Bloom’s performance out played that of the Oklahoma City Orioles. The Orioles defeat Sunday resulted in falling two spots in the standings, going from 5th place to 7th place entering week 11.
