  • November 17: The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ headquarters will move from Alexandria, VA to Orlando, FL. The ability to be located in the same city as world-class theme parks and entertainment facilities such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios will launch more business opportunities for the organization.
  • November 12: After receiving news that Donald Trump is the President-elect for the United States, thousands of protesters gathered on Friday night at Lake Eola in Orlando. The protest started less than two miles from the Pulse nightclub and spread messages of love for the LGBTQ+ community.

Game Recaps (Orlando Blooms vs. Oklahoma City Orioles, 192.96 to 165.22)

Gaining momentum with a four-game winning streak, the Blooms edged out the Orioles 192.96 to 165.22. Rising to 1,406.04 points in total, the Blooms had a few star players throughout out the game. Ezekiel Elliot had 21 carries for 114 yards and two touchdowns that allowed him to gain 44.90 points while Demaryius Thomas counted 87 yards and a touchdown good for 22.70 points for Orlando this week. Blake Bortles was good for 265 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for a total of 30.70 points. The Orioles’ quarterbacks outperformed those of the Blooms but could not increase their total numbers to beat Orlando this week. Orlando trailed early Sunday until Elliot completed a screen pass and an 83-yard run into the end zone to score, which launched the Blooms to take the lead for the remainder of the game.
