Although the Megalodons had three of their starting players out, including star quarterback Derek Carr, wide receiver Michael Crabtree, and kicker Sebastian Janikowski, they still put up a good fight against the Columbia Salamanders. The Megalodons were projected to lose 109.06 to 75.06. They lost 110.06 to 95.34, which adds to their five game losing streak. Although the Megalodons lost, quarterback Joe Flacco completed 30 of 41 passes for 296 yards with three touchdowns. Along with that, wide receiver Dez Bryant caught six of nine targets for 116 yards and a touchdown. Unfortunately quarterback for the Columbia Salamanders, Jameis Winston, also had an impressive game. He completed 23 of 33 passes for over 300 yards with two touchdowns. With the help of wide receiver Brandin Cooks, and their solid defense, the Salamanders came out on top.
