After five straight losses, the Richmond Renegades find themselves back in the win column a 162.36- 123.30 victory over the Baltimore Bayhawks to improve to 3-6. The 162.36 point performance was the largest for the Renegades this season, who move up to 10th place in the 12-team league. The Renegades were led by a game-high 42.72 points from quarterback Drew Brees, along with a standout performance from recent tight end pickup Jason Witten, who added 28.40 points. It was the fourth straight week that Brees led the Renegades in points. Up next for Richmond is the the Memphis Monsters (2-7), who currently sit in last place.
Matchup Preview
- Memphis is currently predicted to outscore Richmond 103.16-79.42.
- Two of Richmond’s key contributors, quarterback Andrew Luck and running back Jalen Richard, will both be sitting out on bye this week. Luck has scored over 20 points in all but one game this season, while Richard scored over 10 in five of the last six games.
- Monsters’ running back Melvin Gordon is predicted to score the most points on either team (19.80).
- After missing last week’s due to concussion protocol, Renegades running back Spencer Ware is expected to return to action. Ware scored over 20 points in two of his last three games.
