Game Recap:

With many of their players on bye weeks, the Sacramento Sasquatches fall to 2-6 overall after this past weeks disappointing loss to the Orlando Blooms 151.76– 79.72. With all of Sacramento’s players finished Sunday evening, the Blooms held a lead of 15.56 (95.28-79.72) with Ezekiel Elliot, Demaryius Thomas, Dak Prescott  and their defense left to play. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 16 of 34 passes for 228 yards with one touchdown and rushed four times for 13 yards. With 14.20 points, Frank Gore was the lead scorer for the Sasquatches, followed by Fitzpatrick with 12.42 points.

Matchup Preview:

-The Sasquatches are projected to outscore the Columbia Salamanders this week (tentative lineups).

– The Sasquatch defense will look to put pressure on Columbia’s QB (Matt Stafford), who although is projected to only score 15.34 points, has been known to score anywhere from mid-twenties to mid-fourties.

-Columbia’s two losses came from the Baltimore Bayhawks and the Virginia Beach Sharks. The Sasquatches defeated the Sharks in week 4.

-Jaquizz Rodgers (Columbia RB) is projected not to score any points in this weeks match up.

– Although neither team is facing any injuries (Rodgers questionable), four of Columbia’s players will be on their bye weeks for this match up

Sacramento Sasquatches’ Season Notes:

-This was the second time this season that the Sasquatches have fallen short of scoring 80 points.

-The quarterback position has been filled by four different players so far this season; Tannehill, Cutler, Fitzpatrick and Kaepernick. Tannehill being the only one to win games (2).

-In an act to fight gun violence, the Sacramento police department has seized more than 1,100 guns off the streets.

-Voters will have the opportunity to vote on whether or not to keep the ban on plastic bag usage (implemented 2 years ago), or to get rid of the ban at this upcoming election.
