Game Recaps (vs. Memphis Monsters)

  • This was quite a close game between the #1 overall and #12—118.82 to 105.94
  • Nevertheless, the Rockets continued their win streak, which is now at 4-weeks strong
  • LeSean McCoy was a key force for the Rockets scoring three touchdowns for 34.20 points
  • Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (acquired by trade in Week 3) also had an impact as he added 16.30 points
  • The Monsters had plenty of chances with Melvin Gordon and Matt Forte, but couldn’t follow through to make plays
    • They had only 116 total yards on 37 combined touches
  • The Rockets jumped to 5-1, while the Monsters fell to 0-6

Matchup Preview (vs. Orlando Blooms)

  • The Las Vegas Rockets are projected to get 98.38 points and the Orlando Blooms are projected to get 86.82. If this happens, the Rockets will be 6-1 and the Blooms will be 2-5
  • The Rockets have a 4-week win streak, while the Blooms have a 2-week loss streak
  • The Rockets are currently in 1st overall in the standings, while the Blooms are 8th overall
    • There are 12 teams in the league
  • The Blooms have some solid rookie starters in running back Ezekiel Elliot and quarterback Dak Prescott, but unfortunately, both Elliott and Prescott have bye weeks this week, so that will hurt the Blooms
  • The Rockets have a strong lineup with Antonio Brown as a key wide receiver, but two of our important players– Ben Roethlisberger and possibly LeSean McCoy are injured

  • Trades: —
  • Add/drop: The Las Vegas Rockets put in a request to add the Broncos quarterback, but we won’t find out if we get him until Thursday 10/20. We dropped Jerrick McKinnon to add the Broncos quarterback because Roethlisberger is injured.
