Game Recaps (Previous week’s game)

The Memphis Monsters just can’t seem to get it together as they faced their 6th consecutive loss of the season. Melvin Gordon and Matt Forte had many opportunities to help the Monsters but unfortunately they only had 116 yards on 37 combined touches between them. Kirk Cousins helped the team with his two TDs but still couldn’t rush the ball more than 300 passing yards. Although the Monsters fell short by 12.87 points. The Monsters continue to not match up with their projected points, this week they were behind the projection by 3.49 points.

Matchup Preview (Upcoming match up)

  • This week the Monsters will play the Sacramento Sasquatches in what is projected to be a close game. Memphis is projected to win by less than one point, 129.42-129.36
  • Monster’s Gordon has the highest point projection at 22.7 which is 2.7 higher than Sasquatches Kaepernick at 20.6.
  • Gordon and Davis combined should put up a good game against Gurley and Baldwin making it hard to predict who will win.
  • The Broncos defense will have a huge impact on the Monsters’ ability to win Sunday.
  • The Monsters made 4 trades this week so hopefully the new additions will be beneficial to the team.
  • The Sacramento Sasquatches had only 2 trades this week, which will positively impact their team overall.
