Virginia Beach Sharks Season Notes

  • Wide receiver A.J. Green has not been in practice this week due to a family matter. A last minute substitution for Green may be made this weekend in which Tyler Lockett will take the field for the Sharks.
  • Virginia Beach could see another offensive threat developing in tight end Jack Doyle as he is expected to receive more playing time this week.
  • Extensive rain fall, as much as 13 inches, in Virginia Beach and surrounding areas over the weekend continue to be a concern for locals and transportation safety. Drainage systems have peaked resulting in slow draining progress which is having an effect on transportation and traffic patterns.
  • Citizen and player safety is the number one concern for the Virginia Beach Sharks as the corporation will be monitoring the situation carefully and acting accordingly.
  • In order to help the community, Sharks players and staff will be participating in disaster relief work throughout the city.
