ORLANDO, Fla. – The Orlando Oranges will be hosting its first annual Thank-Give-Back game on Sunday, Nov. 22 to support the local Salvation Army. On the night of the Thanks-Give-Back game, 50 percent of the concessions proceeds will be donated to the local Orlando Salvation Army to help provide those in need with a Thanksgiving meal.
“We are very excited for this event, and we are so humbled to be able to help out such a great organization like the Salvation Army,” stated head coach Baker.
In addition to the donation, Orlando Orange players will be volunteering at the Salvation Army on Monday, Nov. 23. Orange players will be hand delivering the donation and serving food to those in need.
“I’m really looking forward to being able to volunteer at the Salvation Army with my teammates,” says Orange quarterback Tom Brady. “I think it will be great for the team to get the chance to meet the people that we are trying to help and hear their stories.”
