- Rookie quarterback, Marcus Mariota, returned from a knee injury, that caused him to miss the last two games, in a big way, scoring a career high in passing yards and tied a career high 4 touchdowns
- Blues’ starting running back, Dion Lewis, suffered a torn ACL injury ending his season. The Blues will need production from other running backs, such as DeAngelo Williams, who had a breakout game, rushing for a season high 170 yards and scored two touchdowns.
- Wide receiver, Antonio Brown also contributed to the high scoring Blues’ performance, having a career high in receiving yards with 284 yards. The Blues will hope his performance will continue for the Blues’ playoff push.
- This win against the Honolulu Hammerheads ended a three game losing streak for the Memphis Blues. The Blues are now in a three-way tie for 4th place in the league and are only two games out of a spot in the championship game.
- Next week the Blues will take on first place Virginia Beach Sharks. The Blues will try to avenge their previous loss against them, 166.80 to 101.02.
