Game Notes Week 10

Brees Bounces Back After sitting out week 3 with an injury, quarterback Drew Brees returned in week 4 to score 51.36 points. The performance earned him the Most Satisfying Player Trophy, presented by Snickers.

Gronk Hat Trick Tight End Rob Gronkowski scored three touchdowns for 27.40 points in week 1 to power Honolulu past Louisville 152.50-132.56.

Quarterback Consistency Brees has had at least 250 passing yards in the four games he’s played in. He’s broken 300 yards in three of those games, including a 355-yard performance in week 1 and 359 yards in week 4, both Honolulu wins.

A League of Parity Despite sitting in seventh place in the league with a losing record of 2-3, Honolulu is just one game behind second-place Louisville and two games back of league-leading Virginia Beach.

Gurley Returns After a bye week against Harrisonburg Valley, running back Todd Gurley will return to the lineup against Virginia Beach. Gurley scored over 16 points in his previous two weeks, running for 146 yards in week 4 and 159 yards in week 5.

Hammerheads Have Been Grounded Now accumulating a third loss in a row to the Virginia Beach Sharks, the Honolulu Hammerheads look to find more production in their offense. While boasting consistent numbers all around, the Hammerheads were no-match for the Sharks’ offensive output of QB Carson Palmer and RB Devonta Freeman.

Hammerheads Hoping to Give the Blues QB Drew Brees scored an exceptional 77.30 points leading to an exceptional win last week against the Louisville Lizards. The Hammerheads are hoping to gain another victory this week as they take on the Memphis Blues. The Blues and the Hammerheads are currently sitting on the same record (3-5) so it is looking to be an interesting matchup.

Hammerheads Seek Revenge over L.A. Despite a loss to the Memphis Blues last week, the Honolulu Hammerheads are seeking revenge against the league rival Los Angeles Legends this week. After falling to the Legends 184.9- 149.48 in the teams’ first meeting of the season in week 3, the Hammerheads are the favorite to win the matchup this time, with a 16.72-point advantage in early projections. Quarterback Nick Foles could be the difference maker for Honolulu this week, as he is expected to score 24.64 points, compared to his average 14.89 points.
