Le’Veon Bell Expected to Miss Rest of Season with Torn MCL

Unknown-2LOS ANGELES, CA – Los Angeles Legends star running back Le’Veon Bell is expected to miss the rest of the 2015 season because of an MCL tear. Bell’s right knee was injured when his knee was bent backwards during a tackle. Fans were optimistic after Sunday’s loss and hoped that Le’Veon would be able to recover quickly. However, According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, “Bell has a “badly torn” MCL, along with other damage.”

Bell was catching a pass from teammate and quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, when the tackle occurred. Bell was taken off the field and left Memorial Coliseum for further evaluation and did not return for the rest of the game. Bell took to Twitter to thank fans for their support, his tweet read: “I appreciate the concern and support from everybody who’s send me txts, tweets, phone calls, etc…I’ll be okayy, love you all! #Juice” –Le’Veon Bell (@L_Bell26).

Le’Veon Bell finished second in the league in yards from scrimmage last season and was the second leading receiver on a team that threw 5.000 yards last year. He was playing even better this season and was averaging more than 100 yards rushing-per-game. We will have to wait until he is recovered to see him back in action at the Memorial Coliseum.
