Virginia Beach Dominate Luck En Route to 3rd Consecutive Victory

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Another week, another win. The Virginia Beach Sharks 165.22 to 121.8 victory over the Las Vegas Luck extended the Sharks’ first place standing in the SCOM Fantasy Classic standings.

Playing in front of a sold-out crowd, Running Back Devonta Freeman showed the way and continued his outstanding play scoring 25.70 points in the victory which improved the Sharks to a league best 4-1 record. Tight End Antonio Gates, in his 1st game returning from suspension, and Quarterback’s Carson Palmer and Kirk Cousins all posted 20 or more points. The 165-point performance was the highest point total in the league and showcased

“Freeman has been a dominant, unexpected force for our offense this year and we plan on continuing to rely on him in the upcoming weeks”, said Sharks Spokeswoman Amanda Byrd. General Manager Robert Edmonds reiterated the impact Freeman’s play has had on the team, “Devonta’s explosiveness has opened up the field for Carson (Palmer) and our passing game and allows to have an elite offense that is a scoring threat every time it hits the field.”

Up next the Sharks face elite Wide Receiver Calvin Johnson and the fifth-place Orlando Oranges in Florida.
