Week 5 Game Notes

‘Kaep’ is Back – Colin Kaepernick had his best game of the season with 267 passing yard and two touchdowns this past weekend. Kaepernick had zero interceptions against the strong Sharks secondary. Kaepernick hopes to get more snaps next weekend in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Skid – Losing streak was extended to a franchise record high three games after the Virginia Beach Sharks placed the Luck under .500 overall.

You Earned It – Quarterback Blake Bortles and tight end Tyler Eifert have earned their spot on the starting line up for next weeks match up in Louisville. Bortles threw four touchdowns in his appearance last week and looks to keep the momentum rolling. Eifert caught two touchdowns and had 90 receiving yards. Eifert tied his career high for total touchdowns in a game.

Sleeping Giants – The Las Vegas Luck have been without two key players for most of the regular season: running back LeSean McCoy and Wide Receiver Alshon Jeffery. Two pair will hopefully return to practice within the next week or two to help lift the Luck out of their losing streak. McCoy is nursing a hamstring and Jeffery is healing from a strained calf.
