LAS VEGAS (Dec. 8, 2014)– The Las Vegas Scorpions suffered a loss yesterday to the Daytona Dingleberries, 61.38 to 118.66. Despite the loss, the Scorpions are tied for third place alongside the Tuscaloosa Top Guns in the SCOM Fantasy Classic League. Both teams have a 7-6 record and are trailing behind first place, Columbia Kings, and second place, East Coast Egrets.
Quarterback, Tom Brady, lead the team with 35.38 points and with 86 rushing yards, running back, Marshawn Lynch, followed with 14.30 points. Only two other players, both wide receivers, scored into double digits. Sammy Watkins received 10.70 points and Malcolm Floyd received 11.40 points, just barely making double digits.
Scorpions’ Head Coach, Summer Tarpley, commented in a news release following the game. “Though the result of this game is not what we wanted, I am not disappointed in this team. Things just did not fall into place today. We will be back at it tomorrow, working at getting better every day,” stated Tarpley.
As the playoffs approach, the Scorpions’ hope to get back on track in Week 15.
