Daytona , Fla. (December 3, 2014) – The Daytona Dingleberries dropped a tough game to the Harrisonburg Valley Bees with a final score of 126.10 to 155.34. The loss drops the Dingleberries out of a play off spot and down to number 7 overall in the SCOM Fantasy Classic League. However, despite the loss, the Dingleberries remain in the playoff hunt with a win next week against the Scorpions. The Dingleberries have a 6-7 record, and are looking to improve to 7-7. Although the Dingleberries are in 7th place, if two of the four 7-6 teams lose next week, and the Dingleberries can win, they will be sent to the playoffs because they have the highest point total for the season.

Andrew Luck led the way against the Valley Bees scoring 50.80 points coming from 5 touchdowns. Antonio Brown also had an outstanding performance with 25.20 points coming from 97 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns, and a two-point conversion. Only three other players managed to reach double digits, including Jamaal Charles with 11.90 points, Ryan Mathews with 10.60 points, and A.J. Green with 11.70 points.

Dingleberries’ Head Coach Colin Peck, commented on the loss after the game stating, “ We had a solid performance this week, but we just came up a little bit short. I’m proud of our guys for the way we played, and have to give some respect to the Valley Bees for coming out and playing just a little bit better than we did. They are a solid team, and a force to be reckoned with in the league. We need to look towards our big game last week, and reinforce the positives we took away from the loss this week.”

With the playoffs only weeks away, the Dingleberries will look to close the season out at home with a win over the Las Vegas Scorpions.
