LOS ANGELES (Nov. 25, 2014)– Coming off a pivotal win against the Harrisonburg Valley Bees, the Rams came alive this week defeating the Daytona Dingleberries 151.38-119.82. During week three (September 16th-23rd, 2014), the Rams fell to the Dingleberries 103.82-124.70. Rams’ wide receiver Jarvis Landry and running back Jeremy Hill became members of the team after being picked up as free agents in week 11. The two totaled 36.30 points in the win against the Dingleberries.
Rams’ team captain, Payton Manning, also played a big part in this win totaling 49.08 points for the team. Manning has led the team in scoring the past eight weeks straight. In the past three weeks, Manning has accumulated 132.14 points for the Rams.
“I am here on this team as a leader and my job is to score and make things happen and that is what I try to do every single game,” said Manning – “Jarvis and Hill both did great this game and their efforts do not go unnoticed. With season winding down, all we can do is play our hardest and work toward a win every second of the game.”
With two consecutive wins, the Rams become 7-5 and earned fourth place in the league after being in a four-way tie for third place last week. Rams will play the Las Vegas Scorpions next week who are entering the game on a four game losing streak.
