Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2014) – The Las Vegas Scorpions (6-6) suffered a loss against the Flyers (6-6) 149.32-127.06 in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday night. The Scorpions held the lead for the majority of the game until the Flyers scored 30 points in the last few minutes of play. The Scorpions are currently on a four-week losing streak and have fallen to seventh place overall in the SCOM Fantasy League.
Top scorer Tom Brady led the team with 43.96 points. He completed 38 passes for two touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas contributed 26.70 points with 87 receiving yards resulting in three touchdowns for the Scorpions.
Despite another loss, coach Summer Tarpley has hope for the Scorpions’ future “A lot of teams in the SCOM league have similar records right now. If we can get back to basics, there’s no doubt in my mind we will make the play offs,” Tarpley says.
The Scorpions will host long-time rival the Los Angeles Rams (7-5) in week 13, who are hot off a two game winning streak.
