Scorpions End Winning Streak with Loss in Tallahassee

LAS VEGAS (Nov. 4, 2014) – The Las Vegas Scorpions (6-3) fell short to the Tallahassee Tigers (4-5) in the week nine game 142.38 to 117.12. The loss at home ended the Scorpions’ four game winning streak without effecting their second place standing in the SCOM Fantasy League.

Quarterback and team captain Tom Brady led the team with 41.72 points. Brady threw 333 passing yards for four touchdowns in Sunday’s game. Starting running back Marshawn Lynch added 26.30 points to the board with 67 rushing yards resulting in two touchdowns. The star running back surprised the Scorpions and the Tigers alike with 76 receiving yards, an unusually high number for Lynch.

Notable player of the game and leading wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has high hopes for the Scorpions in week 10. “I have faith in my guys. Nothing is going to stop us from taking the top spot,” Thomas claimed with confidence.

The Scorpions hope for a win on the road in Columbia in week 10 as they take on the top ranked Columbia Kings (7-2).
