HONOLULU – The Honolulu Pineapples had a better second week of play in the SCOM Fantasy Classic League. They scored 157.80 points to the hosting team the Oklahoma City Pioneers 58.38 points. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a stand out performance with 62.90 points for the team. Rodgers threw for 480 yards including four touchdown passes.
When asked if he thought this was his best performance in his career he responded, “I don’t think this was my best game but I’m very happy with the accuracy and the way things went in the passing game. But there’s definitely things to work on.” The Pineapples bounced back after a loss against the Arachnids in the first week of play. Coming off the loss, Rodgers talked about, “being able to take away positives from the game and having a sense of urgency and having more focus from everyone.”
The Pineapples are now 1-1-0 on the season and the team owner, John Lowery couldn’t be happier of how things turned around this week. “Aaron had a great game this week. We are looking forward to this upcoming week and getting back to work to prepare,” said Lowery.
