LAS VEGAS Oct. 22, 2012 – The Las Vegas Sinners quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, left
the game with a left knee and quadriceps muscle injury in the first quarter of the game as the
Sinners receive their fourth loss of the season 154.80 to 62.98 (change when game is over).
When asked about his injury, Tannehill said, “ If needed in an emergency situation, I
could have went back in.” This is very good news for the Sinners, especially since it’s their
franchise rookie quarterback.
Commenting on their loss, Las Vegas’s GM, Nico Thornberg said, “It’s really hard going
into the week knowing that our star running back, Arian Foster, would be on the bench with a
bye, but this organization is happy that Ryan is okay.” Looking forward, this creates an
interesting situation for the Sinners with the quarterback competition. Tony Romo has a record
of 3-3, while Tannehill has a 1-1 record. Looking at points it looks like Romo has a better chance
of winning this weeks competition due to his 26-fantasy point lead.
Thornberg ended his interview with, “All of the focus shouldn’t resolve around our
quarterback. You win as a team and lose as a team.” The Sinners seemed very positive and have
their mind on next week’s game against the last place Multiple Scorgasms Deux.
