SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 28, 2012- The San Antonio Defenders beat the Honolulu Seasiders 73.58 to 58.04 in week eight of the IFFY league season to improve their record to 5-3.
Adrian Peterson, LeSean McCoy, and Brandon Lloyd were the three leading scorers for the Defenders with 16.70, 18.70 and 14.80 points respectively. McCoy and Lloyd each had two touchdowns.
“We played like one unit today and that gave us the win. We are looking to take this momentum into next week,” said Peterson.
Stevan Ridley was the only starting player that scored double digits for the Seasiders. The bench for the Seasiders scored 60.18 points, which was more than the starting lineup.
The San Antonio Defenders (5-3) face the Pointyheads (4-4) next week and the Honolulu Seasiders (3-5) take on Cam Hates Replacement Refs (3-5).
