SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio beat Team Supreme 102.46-98.08 with home field advantage at the Alamodome, in week four of the season.
Quarterback Eli Manning threw for 309 yards and two touchdowns, accumulating 18.36 points. Adrian Peterson and LeSean McCoy, Defender running backs, combined for 26.20 points. The biggest performance came from Marques Colston, wide receiver, with 153 receiving yards and one touchdown to accumulate 21.30 points.
San Antonio kicker, Robbie Gould, made the final difference, by scoring 10 points for the Defenders. Gould made each of his extra point attempts (4) and two field goals.
“I was happy to contribute to the team victory,” said Gould.
Defenders are now on a two game winning streak with a 2-2 record. They face Team Awesome, currently 4-0, in week five.
