Choose Your Own Ending

The last manuscript page of Newman’s novel is badly torn. How do you think Newman would have wanted his novel to end? How do you think it should end?

It seems as though Newman’s namesake character, George, might make a final appearance on this page. What was the end of his story supposed to be? How would you like to see his story wrap up?
