This summer The Valentine is looking for students interested in interning in the following departments:
- Archives
- Costumes and Textiles
- Finance
- General Collections
- Museum Shop
- Public Relations
- Public Programs
- Registrar
The Valentine’s Bobby Chandler Internship program is generously funded by the Kip Kephart Foundation and the Henry Valentine Fund. A minimum commitment of 150 hours is required and an honorarium of $1000 will be provided upon completion. Funded internships are open to students currently enrolled in college or graduate school as well as recent graduates (graduated within the last 6 months) seeking professional experience. Students interested in not receiving funding are welcome to apply. Simply select your preference on the application. The deadline for funded and unfunded intern applications is Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

2. Review Internship descriptions and determine which departments you’d like to work with.
3. Fill out the online application and upload an unofficial transcript, cover letter and resume. Submit by March 1, 2017.
We will begin review of applications on March 1st. Interviews will take place at the Valentine or via facetime or skype March 17th – 31st with offers being made to selected candidates the week of April 3rd.
