The Clarke County Historical Association in Berryville, VA (Clarke is one of the three northern-most counties in VA) has a range of internship projects available for crafting a rich internship experience, including work in exhibitions, cataloging, and education. In addition to an archives collection, they have a museum with “specially commissioned art work, and state-of-the-art audio/video displays.” They also have “one of the oldest, most original operational grist mills in the country,” a National Register Historical Landmark where interns can learn to mill flour!
