Support Blue Ridge Legal Services‘ in-house attorneys and pro bono referral program. Students will learn about civil law cases, both through working with staff legal aid attorneys as well as private attorneys who work pro bono on our behalf. In this area, you will learn how to manage case files and become acquainted with the courts and procedures related to civil law. You will have the opportunity to observe attorneys in case acceptance meetings, in court hearings and trials, and other day-to-day legal operations.

This internship offers a varied and meaningful experience for students seeking exposure to civil law, a nonprofit organization or general office administration. We are interested in students with eagerness to learn and professional demeanor, who are comfortable with people from all walks of life. We will provide training and support.
