Before the exhibition on December 9th, there are a few things we need to accomplish. Last class, we conducted a mind mapping exercise to organize the tasks we need to complete in our final six weeks. These include
finalizing our bill of materials, completing more detailed calculations, creating prototype models, developing advertising elements, and practicing for our exhibition.
We also started building our first sketch prototype: a visual of the different parts that will be put on our drone. It is made out of cheap materials, including foam and electrical tape.

Calendar resulting from our mind-mapping exercise.

We assigned roles for each team member, such as making models, writing code, and crunching numbers. Specifically, each team member has been given the task of researching and eventually obtaining different materials for our prototype. Premal and Jeff are in charge of finding the servos and any other electrical components we may need. Alexa and Urvi are responsible for the GoPro and a compatible gimbal. Everett is in charge of finding the plastics that will work with the thermo former.

Recently, we also met with the landmine detection team, the Mine Sweepers in which the Industrial Designers on both teams presented display ideas for the exhibition.
