For my final, I decided to recreate a strand of the COVID-19 virus. It should challenge me while also treading on what I am familiar with.
It will start out with a basic sphere with small cylinders protruding form it. The tricky part is placing triangle or pyramids on the cylinders and angle them so they are flat on all of the protrusions.
I had to refresh myself on rotating objects, but I was able to prick it up. Thankfully the rotation is just the (xyz) format, so I can input random numbers on the rotations to give an irregular look to the strand.
