Catch the Wind Challenge
For my class challenge. I decided to make my best attempt at creating something that could “catch the wind”. I actually began this challenge by trying to create a raindrop like shape with wings, but about halfway through my design I remembered this toy I used to play with and decided to recreate it. 
This is the Nerf Vortex and is built for flight. With a good toss these things could go flying. The design went fairly smoothly and I just had to be very careful about making sure the tail and wings were all positioned evenly. The only change I would make would be to make the head of the design have more of an edge, but when I tried using a cone I thought it messed with the general design too much.
