For my final project I decided to make several items to go in a mini sand box.  I created these items all using Tinkercad.  I made the sandbox, beach chairs, a sand castle, starfish, shells, sand dollars and a shovel with a bucket.  I had trouble getting the sizing right of all of the items.  I ended up printing the chairs, bucket, starfish, and sandbox twice.  I also had to print the sand dollars at least 3 different times because they were either too big or way too small and would not print correctly.  All in all, it was not too tedious to print everything but it was time consuming because I would have to find time to come to the lab and find open printers.  As well as print about 8 different objects.

Here are some of my initial prints.

After these prints I decided to make the chair larger, and the sand dollar and starfish smaller.

This is the final sand box on TInkercad.

And this is my final print:

I ended up painting the chairs (were dark blue), the starfish (were dark blue) and shells (were white) with acrylic paint. And also put dots on one of the buckets for design.

I am super pleased with this print and excited to have it on my desk at work.
