This week I had a wide variety of pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches. The most surprising experience was the pizza we ate the first night in Florence at Trattoria San Lorenzo because I was not expecting to receive four different types. I had little expectations for my first meal, but the pizza was very fresh and had good flavor combinations that were new to me. The other pizza I got this week, from Gusta Pizza, was the Calabrese pizza. It was much heavier than the pizza from the first night. For a dinner for 1, the pizza was a large size and I had room for left overs. In the future, I want to try the pesto pizza from Gusta Pizza. Another surprising meal was a chicken burger I ordered from Cabiria. The chicken patty tasted like breakfast sausage and I was expecting a chicken breast.
