Mercato Centrale was amazing and so awesome to look and walk around at. I visited both the upper and bottom levels and both of them were different. The lower level consisted more of foods you can take home where the top level was a huge area to sit and eat. It also had a cooking class which attracts numerous tourists and school cooking classes. I was intrigued by all of the fresh produce and the huge raw meats they displayed downstairs. The Market to me differed from the street vendors because everything in the market was so fresh and looked a lot healthier. I wanted to buy a lot of the fruits and vegetables because it looked so good but I definitely plan on returning to get some things for my family. This visit was important for class because it provided a whole new perspective on Italian culture and food. I was so fascinated of all the spices, wines, pastas, meats, fish, and produce they had.
