This week I tried lots of new things! We returned to our favorite restaurant, Trattoria DelOrto, where I had a pasta similar to cacio e pepe but with bacon mixed in. It was not as flavorful as cacio e pepe but I still enjoyed it! After we had the most delicious tiramisu from the same place. Later in the week, I grabbed cacio e pepe as take out from another restaurant because I was craving it. We also tried Shake, a cafe with healthier foods, which was much needed and delicious. On the way home from class one day, I grabbed an arancini (I think?) which was a fried rice hall with meat inside. It was cold but it was good.

As far as the differences between Napolian and Florentian food go, I don’t know if I was in Napoli to truly make a judgement, but there was a lot more fried food available in Napoli. To be honest, I wasn’t super impressed with the pizza there (maybe due to the place we went to), and I think I like Gusta Pizza better still.

all in all, it was a good week of eating and I’m hoping to continue to try more!
