When I was in Siena, I had the pleasure of trying a local pasta that had a pork sauce on top of it, and it was an amazing experience. I also would try the famous fruit and almond tart, and it wasn’t as great as I thought it was, but I did enjoy the taste of it. In San Gimignano, I had the pleasure of eating gelato from a famous place, some focaccia, and a slice of pizza. I enjoyed the food in San Gimignano more than Siena, but enjoyed both experience. I don’t really miss any foods from America, but I am sure I will miss them soon.
