This week was filled with new foods and variety. In Siena, I tried the red fish pasta with breadcrumbs and lima beans. It tasted so fresh and really hit the spot. In San Gimignano, I had the San Gimignano sandwich at one of the street food spots. This sandwich had an artichoke spread on it, zucchini and salami. It wasn’t my favorite, but still filled me up and was so fun to eat while enjoying the view. I also have loved ordering Hugos everywhere I go because of how refreshing they are. I think the food I miss most from the US is peanut butter. The peanut butter here is basically liquid and not as sweet, although it is probably better for you. A classic PB and J with jiff peanut butter is something I will definitely be eating when I get back home.
